How to make Cannabis Honey and Simple Syrup
Need to sweeten your drink but want to give it a little THC and flavor kick while you’re at it? Making Cannabis Honey and Simple Syrup is as easy as making tea. A very slooooooooow-brewed tea…
What you’ll need to make cannabis infused honey:
Cheesecloth
Crockpot
Mason jars
8 Steps to make THC honey
1. For each ounce of marijuana, use 5 lbs of honey.
2. After decarbing your marijuana, grind or chop it and set aside.
3. Pour honey into crockpot and heat on lowest setting.
4. Place ground or chopped marijuana in cheesecloth and tie up into a bundle.
5. Place the cheesecloth in the honey, covering it completely.
6. Simmer 4 to 6 hours. As always when cooking with cannabis, make sure your mixture doesn’t boil or cook at too high a temperature, as this will destroy the THC. If your honey begins to boil, turn off the heat and let cool before applying heat once more.
7. After 4 to 6 hours, you should test for strength and taste. As long as you maintain a low heat, you can continue to cook the honey for a full 24 hours to get as much THC into the mixture as possible.
8. Once you’re happy with result, remove cheesecloth bundle and pour your cooled cannabis honey into mason jars for storage.
Enjoy your Cannabis Honey!

2. After decarbing your marijuana, grind or chop it and set aside.

4. Place ground or chopped marijuana in cheesecloth and tie up into a bundle.
5. Place the cheesecloth in the crockpot and add syrup.
6. Heat on low 4 to 6 hours.
7. As with the honey, after cooking 4 to 6 hours, you should test for strength and taste. Continue to cook the syrup up to 24 hours to get as much THC into the mixture as possible.
8. Once you’re happy with result, remove the cheesecloth bundle and pour your syrup into mason jars for storage.
9. To get even more out of your simple syrup by packing in extra flavor, try adding chopped ginger, peppercorns, mint, or basil. Start with a cup and experiment with more or less depending on your taste preferences.
